Who is responsible for your data
The Septic Homeowner is operated by Nelo Tortosa, based in Spain. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I am the data controller for this site.

What this site collects
Server logs. Like most websites, the hosting server automatically records requests. This includes your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page you requested, the page that referred you, and the date and time. This data is generated automatically and is used for security and to keep the site running. It is retained by the hosting provider for a limited period.
Cookies. Small text files stored on your device. See the cookie section below.
Email you send me. If you email me, I have your email address and whatever you wrote. I keep it for as long as needed to deal with your message. I do not add you to any mailing list.
This site does not have user accounts, does not have a comment section, and does not ask you to submit any personal information through a form.

Advertising
This site displays advertising served by Google, through Google AdSense.

This site does not sell personal information for money. The use of advertising cookies may constitute “sharing” under the CPRA. You can opt out by using the cookie settings on this site, by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser, or by emailing nelo@theseptichomeowner.com.
Everyone else
Whatever your location, you can email me and ask what data is held about you and ask for it to be deleted. I will do it.
Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information here, contact me and I will delete it.

Changes to this policy
